● abilities: Paige is an expert pilot and gunner, she typical operates ventral guns on bombers and back home, she worked for a mining company piloting the same kind of ship. She is fairly handy with a blaster too.

Strengths:
Paige gave up her life to save the ones she loved most by making sure her bomber dropped its payload and destroyed the First Order's ship. She died as she lived, a hero.

She was known for being calm under pressure. Calm is honestly the word used MOST to describe Paige. Rose called her sister "calm, fearless, tail-gunner-under-fire". While Rose is quick to anger and act while Paige was a lot more controlled. She understood the value of waiting things out, of patience and seeing the bigger picture, the bigger plan. She usually tempered Rose's more impulsive urges.

She was also an eternal optimist, she did it for the people around her (especially her sister) to help everyone stay positive and keep their spirits up. She had hope for the future, that even if they failed to stop one evil deed, there are other evil things they can prevent and that ultimately the Resistance would triumph.

Paige’s ability to seize on a little thing and turn it into a strategic plan was what got she and her sister and their crew out of more than a few scrapes. And it helped them get out of their home planet alive, escaping the First Order's brutal destruction of their planet. Due to this destruction, Paige believed in the cause she was fighting for even if she didn't know every facet of the Resistance and their plans, she trusted the system, had faith in the Resistance.





● weaknesses:
Rose was Paige's greatest weakness. Paige worried about Rose like crazy even though she knew her sister is strong and competent. And no matter what, Paige was going to put Rose first, even before her own self. The only time you really see Paige lose her cool is when her sister is in danger. When her sister gets shot, she freaks out and is desperate to make sure Rose is okay. Initially, the sisters refused to fly without one another and luckily that was not a big issue. Paige said on multiple occasions that "Without Rose, I feel like a part of me is missing." Paige was also superstitious, that was the other part of her reasoning for never flying without her sister, Rose. But also, it was the reason she would often fasten the medallion she always wore, to the gunsight mount of her laser cannon.

Paige had a competitive streak, although it's mostly directed towards her enemies in battle. One of the only things that break her calm was her disdain for the First Order. And when she got on a roll, taking them down with her turret guns, she did tend to shout her version of profanities at them (the books are a bit PG).

Paige wasn't completely fearless even if she tried to appear as much. She got scared like anyone else. When she was in training, she was easily terrified by the older pirates hazing the rookies with mission horror stories (she figured out, in the end, it was their way of weeding people out). She hated passing by the magno-charges (explosives) on her bomber. And she felt uneasy about being down in the ball turret during light speed until her sister explained how safe it was to be there. She tried to conquer her fears by remembering what her mother told her, "fears get smaller if you share them with people who care about you." And yet, the only person she exposes her fears to was her sister.
